Hey Gang,
I've been on the MPC 2500 for a while and have been thinking about going to the Renaissance but it appears that that MP is hard to come by. To any of you guys knowledge, is Akai still making the Renaissance? I've reached out to every Akai retailer and have been told the same thing, they havent received any in ages.

Pretty sure they haven't been in production for awhile. But nevermind that, new hardware and software is probably (most likely) going to be released soon. I would wait until after Winter NAMM before purchasing anything just yet.

I mean, I guess if you absolutely can't wait, get a used studio on the cheap or something :| I would wait though.

I know that no one can really say for sure but what is you guys best guess as far as do you all think a new MPC that's in the same family as all of the other generations will be released? I mean as far as full sized build, etc.

One is a standalone Touch and the other looks as wide as the Ren/ or 2500 not a lot is known about it though.
