Hi Everyone, I have been checking out this site for awhile now. Seems like a great resource for MPC stuff plus very active. I am just starting out with a few basic things. I am running a version of Ableton Live Lite (For now, at some point plan on upgrading) and have an old Axiom 25 and a MPD32. I am looking for a tool to make programming of rhythm and grooves much easier and have pretty much decided that I would like to go the MPC way vs. Maschine.

The real part I am stuck on now is which path to take. One side of me thinks that a Studio will get the job done for me. But on the other hand, another $200 (which is a good jump) I can get a Touch. I am not sure for the $200 that it is worth it. I have watched many videos on both. The Touch's capabilities are awesome. The sampling and chopping from the hardware seems invaluable. I also want to be a bit future-proof, although using the MPC software, I guess both will not really see any difference. I am just not sure if the extra $200 is really worth it for me at this point. This is why I figure I would post here where I could get much better feedback.

I have read older posts on the subjects, but nothing to really give me a solid feeling if a Studio will be enough, or that I will end up regretting and only wanting the Touch. Now I also realize that there is a new model on it's way out soon , but I am sure that will cost more than the Touch now which will be out of my spending range.

Thanks for your help on this.
