I suggest it is an issue with your mac

I'm using MacOS as well and no crashes here. Are you by any chance using a MacBook with the Magic Mouse?

If you want your problems healed you need to provide more details, i.e. step by step recreation and of course post your system specs, especially which Mac OS version you are running.

I do appreciate highly all people who are able to work a helpdesk job....it must be hell

I mean, I'm Ableton certified...and at some point, for a very brief moment, I thought it might be fun to do a few hours of helpdesking a week, but after giving it some thought, I realized I couldn't do it.
It's all about digging all context out of people who be like "So I click on that, and now I can't see that anymore, but that is highlighted in red" or "I load a song and my project crashes. Plz help. Thx"

I work for an isp. I don't know which is worse as I've worked with software before but that was always in person so I could see what I needed. A bit more info would go a long way here.

Yeah, in person it's way different. I do Ableton workshops and private tuition every now and then, which is easy, but every now and then someone emails me about an issue, and it's always non-context hell.

I have payed 699 euro for the touch.
And the mpc 1,9 software sucks.

So must make this up to us.

I'm using 1.8 and I don't think the software sucks.......if audio tracks were incorporated I think I would actually be pretty satisfied....

I can imagine if I had started out on 1.0 I would probably have holes in my walls and dents in my Renaissance....but I didn't.....and i've always found the software pretty stable and efficient...

I gotta admit, it does suck that we still have to pay for this after all the waiting and we still have months and months of updates more after that, for the software might be unstable for awhile like previous updates.

Stability has always been an major issue with the MPC software. I've never used a software DAW (yea, I said it. Sue me!) that crashed sooo much. There's certain placements I've landed in the past, that you wouldn't have known it took about 3 or 7x to make the beat due to crashes.

Let's not forget Akai is probably going to rework the whole software to the point it might effect my workflow. I still don't understand why they needed to discontinue the feature of dumping stems from the Song section in one take (meaning all the stems are bounced down at the same time. The bounce process was waaaay quicker too until they switched everything up. So I've been prepping myself for what might be a very long wait.. I just hope the new update is stable and has a much better workflow then the past updates.
