i think that frankie smith (i can't remember his name really, gotta find that record again between my mess :lol: ) with double dutch buss has some nice handclaps in the beginning if you tweak em well.

Layer 3-5 claps, use a little filter on 2-5, keep the first clap original, move around 2-5 maybe 1-3 ticks in front and in back of each other. Now you have your sick claps. Vary the volume on all except the first one.

You must start with a single decent clap first of all though, just make copies of it and go from there.

I've been doing the snare/congo pitched down thing for a minute now.

Sampling is good but 70% of the time I like to have the satisfaction of makin my own sounds out of other sounds and messing with sine, saw

walk around your house clapping your hads, when you hit a spot that has a good natrual reverb, sample it.. usually your bathroom, then pitch and layer and filter usually 3-4 layers and its banging, and don't just limit yourself to layering claps only: layer a rim with reverb or just layer a reverb (from a snare or something) and it will sit better..

theres some bangin KIKS and snares on BAY CITY ROLLERS tack they wacker than batmaNs sound effects but they drums r tighter than a nuns c u n t

dont know about sampling already sampled samples from wack R&B pussys or any other sample based music :oops:
