hi im new on this i got a mpc 1000

It all depends on what OS you are referring to. I have jjos 1. On jjos one i control my level and effects with mode and 11. If you want a dry raw sound you could skip the effects and just eq your master. In jjos1 one i dont think there is an independent mixer for each level. To control your levels you have to turn down the pad level to your preference. On jjos2 there is an independent mixer that controls each level. So it can still be done on jjos1 but you controll it from the pad levels.
