How do I get my Mac OS to read my CF card?

I assume I have to format.. not sure how. Could someone point me in the right direction?

Make sure you use a Mac app that removes the hidden Mac files from your MPC's CF card.
The CF card will still work in the MPC1000 but you end up a bunch of unnecessary Mac files on there you don't need.
I'm using the Clean Up smb mess v2.2 app on my MBP with OS10.10.5. Just drag and drop the CF card icon onto the app (I keep the clean up app on my desktop) and go from there...
