I think the time has come to separate some of the 'next gen' MPC discussion, and as I see it there's two options:

1) Touch screen forum (Live, X, Touch) vs dot matrix screen (Ren & Studio)
2) Standalone/hybrid (X & Live) vs Controller-only (Ren, Studio, Touch)

So basically, it's really down to what we do with the Touch. What do you reckon?

I would link everything by software vs true standalone, live and x would go in the software category, if Im reading you right.

No, I'm just talking about creating a new subforum for the Live & X, it's just whether or not to include the Touch with those two, or keep the Touch together with the Ren & Studio.

I recon just rename this one for now......if it comes on top when the new units drop then maybe split it then....

but right now we've all got the same interests, and most of us will be wanting to discuss 2.0 even if we still only have a Ren or a Touch....

Tutor ,I think All Mpcs that use the MPC SOFTWARE ,The Live. The Ren, Mpc X ,Mpc Studio . should be in the same category .while the Live and MpcX are standalone .They also hook up to a computer and use Mpc 2.0 software. all updates from this point on will apply to the Mpcs I mentioned. When Mpc 2.0 receives an update it will affect all the modern Mpcs.Imho, only the header of the category needs adjusting.
just my two cents...ps Im just too lazy to be looking all around for you guys desire and gripes, lol jk.respect

Agreed - makes sense if they are all using the same software.

I basically said the same thing, link or put everything that uses software in one sub, separate from the MP's that don't use software . You could even break em up with subtitles like old school MPC or true school and new school, which would obviously include The Live , X , Ren and Studio. Also give us an updated look to go with the new flagship MP.
