First time here, i was looking forward the launch of those new akai.
Are the price for europe official? What is the source?
Why there is such difference with US price?
I think this is really strange and i hope not we get a cold shower about this soon.

Akai did the same thing with the MPC Touch, it was originally much cheaper here in the UK. I think the difference is that the US price will drop further in the coming months, while the UK price won't budge (the UK Touch price started at £499 and is still £499, while the US price was 799, now 599.

Yes but the rest of Europe has to deal with Euro's. just like me.

Here in The Netherlands they like to switch out the dollar symbol with the euro symbol.

Bax shop just sell it less than 10% more than the british pound price converted to euro: 1800€ (1449 pouns is 1666€)

I'm still wondering what's cooking at Roland. But they really gotta up the ante if they want to compete. As it stands now, the only "MPC Killer" out there is the MPC itself, which is a good thing. But I gotta wonder what's next from the competition. Things are gonna start getting real interesting. But for now it seems that Akai has regained the throne.

Aww man, its just King Elect right now. Inauguration hasn't even happened yet. Needs to get out in the hands of users before the crown is handed over.

Will the RAM be upgradable on the X & Live?

The specs for the Live is CPU:
-Processor | 1.8 GHz quad-core ARM. Cortex. A17 processor RAM | 2 GB

I read the X was 2GB RAM too but I can't seem to find the in-depth specs now....

Doesn't really matter if not, just curious.
