First Scan of VST folder causes MPC software to crash

Trying to scan my VST folder within the MPC Software and it immediately crashes when I hit the scan button. Any ideas? Using an MPC Studio black, Windows 64bit OS. The only files in the target folder are:

Hybrid.dll
MPC.dll
Wobble.dll

This shitty bugged should have been fixed a long time ago.

Hey guys, I've made sure all of the plugins are 64bit dll's and it still crashes immediately after hitting the scan button. Tried re-installing MPC software and still does the same thing.

I've also taken out all of the VST's from the folder and did a dry scan just to see if it that would at least let the scan commence, but it still crashed immediately. Really getting on my nerves that I can't perform a simple task. I've nothing but technical problems with this software.

did you change the text windows scaling to 100% instead of 125%?

What OS, Windows 10?

Yes, Windows 10

Start ------> Settings-------> Display-------> Change the display text to 100%

Save

Open MPC scan all your plugins and then go back change the text settings back to where it was.


This works on Windows 8 and 10, I don't remember the steps for Windows 7.

Thanks for the patience. Unfortunately, I'm still experiencing the same issue. I even placed the wobblex64 DLL in the folder by itself, rescanned and it still crashed immediately. I'm either experiencing a bug, or I'm doing something very simple and stupid and I'm not recognizing it.

Go to Action Center > All Settings > System > Display > Advanced display settings, click Advanced sizing of text and other items, then "set a custom scaling level". Set "Scale this percentage of normal size:" to 100%, after noting the current setting... Click OK. Log out of your Windows profile, then back into it.

Launch the MPC and scan again. The scan should run without crashing, and once complete, you can change your settings back to where they were before you adjusted them. While this does seem to get past the crashing issue, it does introduce the new issue I mentioned above, with the MPC displaying the plugins incorrectly, with heavy black borders all around everything
