Masada,
First of all I'd like to thank you for all the work you put in beta testing these new machines.

I was not able to join the live Q&A session to ask the following questions and I would appreciate it very much if you could answer them here.

1. Is it possible to preview samples and loops from the X or the Live's browser in sync with the sequence tempo?

2. Are there more than 8 submix tracks in 2.0? Im hoping for 16 or more.

3. Is it possible to rearrange the tracks order in the track view as well as mixer view?

That's it for now. Hope you can reply soon. Thanks.

Yo, how does explode work in standalone mode? Does it use tracks out of the 8 available?

What do you with explode? only know a explode feature in autocad. Or do you mean the ability to freeze tracks?

With explode tracks, It takes say your drum program and puts each pad on a different track so when you bounce to a DAW you have the individual drum hits instead of a stereo track with all the drums on it which you can't mix further.
Don't see how the addition of audio tracks will affect this. Unless they fundamentally change how explode tracks work as you then wouldn't be able to explode a full bank of 16 pads as you only have 8 audiotracks in standalone.

will I be able to install it on W7-64, or, is that out and I have to choose between upgrading my OS or forgoing MPC 2.0 altogether ?

You should scroll up and watch the live stream, Masada clearly says that he's using windows 7 on his system.

Masada,
Any chance you can answer my questions above? If not I'll assume the answer to them are no which would be disappointing if that's the case. Thanks.
