Post MPCX, MPC Live, and MPC 2.0 questions for NAMM 2017

1. Is it possible to preview samples and loops from the X or the Live's browser in sync with the sequence tempo?

2. Are there more than 8 submix tracks in 2.0? Im hoping for 16 or more.

3. Is it possible to rearrange the tracks order in the track view as well as mixer view?

4. Can you solo individual submix tracks in 2.0?

5. Are there global
unsolo and unmute tracks buttons?

WHEN we use MPC AS VST
CAN WE HAVE ALL PARTS OF THE SOFTWARE RESIZE especially the browser

Things I'd like to know:

USB Host functionality :
- Are there any settings related to USB MIDI? (channels, filters, etc.)
- Is USB MIDI for controllers only, or does it send MIDI data via USB?
- Can it send/receive clock via USB MIDI?
- What happens if you hook up a MPC touch?

Clip Launching:
- Can you have MIDI clips?
- If not, can you sample directly into clips?
- What's the process of turning a sample into a clip look like?

Chopping / Slicing:
- Can you trigger slices via MIDI?

X/Y Effects:
- Is beat repeat available without the filter in the event I'm not a cheesy house DJ?

Miscellaneous:
- Anything you can find out about the OS. Is it Linux? UEFI Secureboot?
- Any possibility of expanded audio I/O via USB? (i.e. with a class compliant audio device?)

Of course it will be compatible with the ren. It's not free for the Ren, but yeah it works

it would have been dope to plug in a class compliant audio interface in the back and have some extra inputs (and outs too) with the DAC of our choice...

If you are still taking questions

In Q-Link Edit mode can you have it so in SAMPLE EDIT MODE, you can have Start and End Knobs in the same column.

Hellfire gave a workaround for this, as wondering if this was natively possible in q-link edit mode.

Id like to know will 2.0 support VST 3 plugins? and are there any improvements or additions to the midi function/usage for external synths and boards.

so as a Renaissance user i guess its going to be about 80 sheets in the UK then?

That's not 2.0 specific, 1.4 supported all of the above.

Let's talk about combining sequences from different projects into one for a seamless live performance without the need to load a new projects at the end of each song ..

Let's also ask about the Q links on that Ren being able to respond to settings in various modes other than home .

How about outputs of the renaissance being able to split to Mono three and four

Let's talk about clip mode and the live Luping feature assigning to it whilst live performance is in action,

Personally I can't wait to see what version to can really do !

the problem I run into is, the computer not being able to recognize the floppy disk and ask if you want it to be formatted, some people had to put their disk into say a 5000 reformat it, then load it into the MPC software to get it to work, don't know what AKAI did or have done to address this issue in 2.0
