This is crucial, and something I've lamented many times.

Even for composition's sake. I'd like to be able to pull disparate sequences into a new project.

Actually back on topic - question for Akai:

Akai originally promised lots of new vintage sampler emulations....yet to date we've just had SP1200 'ring' mode, and that turned out to be just the decimator plugin in disguise. Any more proper vintage emulations planned?

Let's also ask about the Q links on that Ren being able to respond to settings in various modes other than home .

How about outputs of the renaissance being able to split to Mono three and four

Let's talk about clip mode and the live Luping feature assigning to it whilst live performance is in action,

Personally I can't wait to see what version to can really do !

I would to hear about this as well.

A couple of very basic questions about features that should have been stable and available way back at 1.0:

1. Are we going to be able to accommodate multiple sequences of differing tempos in song mode, which for some reason the current software can't handle (currently the whole song just goes to the default tempo of the first sequence)? This was never an issue in any hardware MPC. This is very basic and very important. It's embarrassing that the software still cannot handle different tempos in song mode.

2. Will the MPC software finally work as a real, actual stable plugin within DAWs like Logic?

I've heard on a sonicstate review that the live had 8 stereo audio-tracks?
Can someone clarify this a bit for me on how this works? (stand-alone mode this is) I only own an mpc60, but have interest in the live edition.

You can have 8 stereo audio tracks, when you connect the LIVE to your PC/MAC you can use 128 audio tracks. They are realtime pitchable and stretchable. You can bounce VST stems to audio tracks and take the song on go with you. You can also do basic daw functions with audio tracks... punch in/out, fades etc.

If you find any videos of the MPC 5000 audio tracks it's similar to that.

It's also worth pointing out that the sound card resolution is apparently 24 bit 96khz but Akai are crippling this ability by only allowing you to work at a maximum of 24/44.1 in standalone mode.

Hopefully Saint Joe can ask about if and when they're going to rectify it.
