That's also the reason they don't want to have a chat about the release date: people would immediately hold it against them. Without video cameras around, they might actually say something about it.

Makes me think, there's a reason they put Andy Mac there.
First, he's handy with the demos.
Second, he's not a face people associate with having and giving out a lot of official info (sure he knows it though).
Third, if it had been Dan, he would've got absolutely roasted for saying "2016" a year ago etc.

April is what we've been hearing quite a bit relating to the X.
Even a local store here that is speaking to Akai has been speaking of April for X since the beginning.
Live: it's mostly been Feb what I've heard so far.

But has anything been confirmed – that's a different story.

I have early March in France for Live.

March April at the earliest for both. No Live in feb

In that video I love the way you can move the midi notes at the twist of the job knob, couldn't do it that easy in the 2000xl. Dam I can't wait to get the X.
