Thanks, Joe. Tough to articulate everyone's questions/concerns, but I think you covered a lot of the main bases. Happy to hear that portamento is a "priority", but that sidechain answer concerns me a bit (the mixer has been reworked? lol). Having the release pushed back further and further is always concerning, but hopefully it's more bc they're adding features and not just bc it's bug-ridden.

Btw, good marketing. I you say there will be other options, ppl wait till the other options

I think MPC-X will be great next to my Push2. Maschine Studio is running already not as a VST and will be replaced by the MPC-X. Hope the X is able to sequence my hardware synths by midi. Maschine was not

Stream Audio tracks from ram hmmmm But I have heard this will not be a problem so maybe they will have it stream from the SD or something.

some good questions here, especially the first one for me personally about the Standalone to Controller mode workflow! Still a bit unclear though, so when you plug your Live/X to the computer, the software sees your standalone drive and copies the whole standalone project to your computer drive automatically? or it reads it straight off the hardware as a thumb drive and when you save it inside MPC software it makes a copy of the project on your computer?

i'm confused by Andy's answer...?

Andy said that it's similar to the older units of back in the days. Back in the days I had to choose the 'mount drive' option in the MPC 2500. I guess now its the option to choose between stand alone and controller mode. And from what I understood from Andy's explanation is that once your in controller mode the internal hard drive of the MPC will pop up like any other drive would.

That way you can load your project from within software 2.0. Just choose the MPC internal drive and load your project..

kinda disappointing that it does not stream samples directly from sd cards or usb; cos the sp505 had that back in 2002.

also seems like the connecting the device to the pc and going from controller mode to standalone should be improved.

the should of made the ram upgrade-able also

Streaming them from RAM should be even faster.
And 2GB for audio is a lot.
