I have an MPC Studio that I use through Logic Pro X.
I can play sounds but not record. Also the audio tab in preferences are missing.
Why is this? Also I have updated the drivers.

Which Mac OS are you running? What device do you use for audio?

If you are running it as a plugin there is no audio tab because the host DAW's audio settings override it.
