Well proved me wrong there. See, if it sounds good, it is good. I love a dirty sound too, try to get it with some analogue gear. And my relative inexperience with eq, compression etc sometimes makes it sound dirty, crushed too haha. Heck, when I turn my Iphone up all the way without the headphone and put it in my coat's pocket I also like the sound of the distorted filtered sound haha. Who would've thought

Im confused. Are you saying you want to export from the 2.0 software where you used a vsti instrument and then bring it into the X or Live?

You resample the track into a wav file to bring VSTs effects into standalone, no other way said Andy Mac.

Ok got it. But where are you sampling frome? 2.0 software?

I guess so, you can resample a track and/or parts of it from what I recall. You can store samples to the MPC's harddrive even when connected to 2.0 so I don't think things would get lost between the transitions of switching standalone to controller.

Yes and I believe there was a dedicated button for that (in track mode). You just hit that button and your vsti/vst will be rendered/resampled into an audio file. Do this for all your CPU hungry tracks and it will reduce the CPU stress dramatically.

I just wished they showed more of the functionality at NAMM or just release an 1 hour in depth video and leave all those clip launching and time stretching stuff aside (That's already clear by now).

Yeah. If you're in the 2.0 software and you use a Vsti/vsts on a track export/bounce out in stems or stereo 2 track, save that to your desk top. When you're in standalone mode go to the area on your desktop bring that into the Live/X and assign it to a pad. You should be good to go.

So true. That's what NAMM is about showing what your product can do.

I'm pretty sure they gotta release some more official video stuff prior to shop dates...those MPC lounge videos were super short, and those new to the MPC especially need to see more.
Heck, those somewhat familiar need to see more about the new software 2.0.
