Ok guys. We makin some progress. But it seems like the patterns are tied to individual tracks.... Vs the entire sequence. I would like to have up to the full 16 tracks of midi or whatever audio etc is recorded to ALL be assigned to a pad and play when I trigger it. Not just a single track....(booooooo)

Am I just missing something. I'm digging fellas!!!

It's sending the midi data out (to external gear) for the entire sequence when I press the play button (Plays the entire sequence) BUT when I press a pad to trigger the "pattern" it seems to only trigger one midi channel at a time..

I'm literally trying to get the pad to do the same thing that the white play button is doing.

Ok I'll try that. The first comment to help me suggested that too. I started reading up on it late yesterday afternoon but something about the way they described the timing in the manual didn't sit well with me.

I'm not following this too well. Please excuse me. I'm really trying to make sure that this will work before I spend the money on the OS. It will be the primary function that I plan to use.

I don't think mpc 1000 pad functions are designed to work like that.

2 ways: Song Mode and Next Seq

Next Seq is what you are looking for. Im not sure how the other OS's handle the next seq function as I have only used OS2xl and OS3 for years. With OS2xl you can set the pads to immediately switch sequences on playing the pad. I know it has been suggested to you already but Im not sure why you aren't convinced :hmmm:
