File Transfer:How will it work?

Ok,let's say you are working on the computer with your MPC-X/Live and you got 10 or more audio tracks going and maybe 16 or more instrument tracks going and say you want to continue your work away from the computer what happens to your extra audio tracks seeing as how you only get 8 audio tracks in stand-alone mode?,oh if anyone else has mentioned this I'm sorry I didn't read that far ahead.

I think this was discussed in one of the videos.

You're using a sampler. It's entire purpose is playing lots of audio tracks.

VSTs and other things you may have previously recorded can be bounced as stems. Stick them in a program and just trigger them if you want as one shots. Cut the the stems up and then you can play about further with new ideas. Thats one way I already use my MPC studio.

But he is curious on what actually happens when you do it, like does the system put up a prompt or something.

Fair point. I'd imagine its gonna be similar to how it works importing an MPC project into MPC essentials. It will ask what you want to keep. MPC essentials can only work on a track at a time so it asks which track/program you want to import when you open a session.

Masada(or anyone from the beta) will prob be the best person to ask. Pretty sure it already got covered in that thread.
