Can someone give a thorough and clear explanation of how:
you add a drum sample (like a snare shot) from a file on your computer to a single pad on the MPC touch?
you add a keygroup (like an 88 key piano) from a file on your computer to all the pads in all the banks?
(hoping I can give someone some of my MPC4000 programs, if I can't then I should be able to take a middle C note from a piano and have it spread across the pads (keys))
If there are video link that explain this, feel free to add that as well.
A guy has asked me to help him learn the Touch. I spent time explaining the MPC4000 just so he could get an understanding of what these units can sort of do. Now I have to show him on the Touch. I did a search but did not see the most basic 1-2-3.
At first I watched videos of the Touch and I thought this is the bomb. Then I saw the latency with the actual unit in front of me and I was like whoa! This cat has a powerful AMD processor in his laptop. I found the latency setting and tried to fiddle with it but couldn't fix it. For now, more importantly, answers to the above questions will suffice.
Appreciated,
Ian
