Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Sup fellaz. i sample into my Motif ES6 but sometimes when i take a sample via zip disk to my mpc it says invalid wav format. but when i pop that same disk into my computers zip drive the wav from the motif reads and play fine. Do u what i can do to fix this.

what kinda wav you got goin on? you need 16 bit, dunno anything bout the motif but a computer can read wavs of all diff bit rates but mpc cant. u prolly jus need to convert them, theres a bunch of different software that works. hope that helps.

The wavs i save in the motif are 16bit, sometimes they work, and sometimes they dont? I dunno man, thanks anyway though.

Wav Files Come In ..............MAD...............MAD Formats


The MPC Likes Only 16bit and 44.1khz PCM Uncompressed......
(Don't Always Think Your File Is in that Format)

Try ......Cool Edit ,Wavelab (Mac or Pc) or my FAV Sound Forge....

These Editors Will AID You In Alot of tasks And Also with added
Setups let you convert MP3z to this wav Format.
