Yo Danoc, I know you saw that Roland sampler and oathed to silence. I sure wish you could draw that on paper lol! But can you at least tell me does it look as sexy as the X?

Quality control happens in the factory. Once they're on sea containers, they're headed for a distribution hub in the destination country, sorted, palletized , then probably trucked to local warehouses, where they're then broken out, and back on delivery trucks for store delivery.

Hell to the naw lol man did you see how dam sexy that X looked under that blue lighting? Man aint nothing sexier than the X right now. lol

Don't get me wrong I'm also thirsty as f*ck for the new MPC's. Thats why I went in
and asked Pete: What about the 'X' (No reply yet).

But let's keep calm and focus on what this forum is about without reaching out to
the flame trower all of the time.. Because most of the time it's about small rubish..

I saw a 15% off but it was for only newly registered customers at musiciansfriend or samash, I don't remember but I tried to use a fake email to register but it turns out I used all my emails and each one was rejected and a message like "that email is already registered".

Anyway, the priest is hooking me up with a $100 gift card, I might use that to buy a new mic preamp, but I can't use it until the Live ships.

If I were you I'd take that quote straight to PSSL and ask them to beat it (no pun intended, lol). Like I said before in an earlier post, I pre-ordered the X from them for $1619 (no tax and free shipping). I was shooting for 1500 but 1619 is a heck of a lot cheaper than 2199. The difference can go towards a 2TB SSD internal drive for the X.

Thanks on the alert. And they do match price too. I want them to beat it. I use to do that to Samash back in the analog days.

I think the screen design should have been amended so it does not stick out over the edge when laid flat.

cos it looks like there is enuff space on the hardware to where they could of moved the screen hinge closer to the pads and the function buttons.

alternatively they could of made the height of the screen slightly less to that when flat the screen is inline with the back of the unit.

It just seems like an odd design choice I dunno why they decided to go ahead with this

Agree. Odd choice especially when the X could, and will probably be used in live situations... it's going to have to travel well. I'd like to know what they have been transporting it in for these trade shows. More than likely something custom. But I can imagine others would be interested in knowing that too. Seems like a big damage risk to me.

There should be President's Day coupons any day now. But 1619 is a heck of a price. Sweetwater matched a price and got it down to 1819.

so Dan Gill keeping a low profile I think after that rededit exchange he got shook; one of those angry MPC touch fans was bout run down on Danny boy.
