Just Bought MPC3000 for $1250, what next as as accesories? I'm going to need one of those neat stands that i've seen. zip drive. What all comes standard on these things? This is my set.......

Nuendo 2.033
echo gina sound card
Biamp 2442 analog consoles
Roland xv3080
Kurzweil K2500rs loaded
Alesis nanobass
creative labs soundblaster for midi
creative labs extigy for midi
Yamaha YME8 midi expander
korg M1 is my controller

What midi configuration should i use, so that i can sequence with the MPC (master) and also use the vst instruments that i have. Can i trigger them from the MPC? I know alot about midi but just thought i would get some other opinions. Some ideas would be great!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks

What are your computer specs and while you are at it you might want to update to nuendo 39b you should have a really fast PC because of latency issues with the soundcard to sequence properly on the MPC.

Give me some specs and I can help you setup for what you want to do.
This is how my system is setup.

MPC 3000 master sequencer >
MIDI Out A into Nuendo\SX use all Vsti in Nuendo upto 16 Vsti
MIDI Out B into Reason listening through rewire upto 16 Sound modules
MIDI Out C into Triton Pro upto 16 Channels
MIDI Out D into Access Virus

All of this is played back through my Mackie 32X8
and recorded in Nuendo at 32 bit 44,100 with Apogee converters and RME DIGI 96/52 Digital Audio card.

And I use a Motu AV MIDI Interface for all of this to communicate.

My Triton Korg is the master controller its in MIDI 1 IN
and I run SMPTE to sync with Nuendo\SX using the SMPTE generator plugin that comes standard with Cubase and Nuendo

I hope this makes sence :)

Hi, Terrahertz. How do you play the VSTi's in Nuendo 2 thru only 1 MIDI port? I know it has sumting to do with filtering some MIDI stuff, tho I cant seem to figure this out.. I have an MPC4000 and Nuendo 2 on a laptop with Tascam US428.
I run two MIDI cables -32 channels- from MPC to Nuendo 2
Thx

Actually someone helped me with the same problem.
You need to filter some things its not hard I just use a template someone posted.

You can download it here when you get it let me know so I can delete it.
