Looking 4 a step by step demo on how to save midi excl msgs

Looking for a step by step demo on how to record exclusive midi messages so that when I load up a track my modules will go right to the correct presets. I'd appreciate it. THANX!

Ive been lookin for the same thing kid. I asked one time and they said something about the MSB and LSB. But I had no Idea what that was about, I couldn't find eathier on the my sound modules. So I hope you get an answere so I can bit. One Luv

Your module should have come with a data list specifying the MSB and LSB
#'s for it's banks and programs.

That thread would not help. The poster wants Sysex not Prog/Bank change messages.

Sysex is pretty easy
1) connect synth midi out to MPC midi in.
2)Hit record on MPC
3) initiate sysx dump from synth.
4) hit stop on the MPC.

All done.

i wanna know what will i have to go to on the planet phatt or what is = to synsex dump from other modules.

Try to find and download the other modules manuals.
There must be something in them that tells you where in the menus
to find the specific page you are looking for.

but that may work, lemme try that.

just insert a program change using the step edit for each track you need to change the module.

I was talking about the midi cables and hopefully you could go through your own menus and find what you needed.
