A month to learn on the 500 wtf? Man l hopped right off the Boss DR5 drum machine onto the 2000 MPC and was making beats in minutes. Dr5 was terrible on quantizing. It taught me how to be on time though. 2001 i got the 2000XL and was happier than a mugg.
