You know when I had the 2000xl I didn't even think about getting another machine? I was so far into that and learned it in and out that I just stopped thinking about other machines and just kept rockin. For me I just need one. I lost track of any and all machines. But I feel you on what you did, you gotta do what you gotta do to insure your studio work flow. But from what I hear the MV is a great machine.
If it breaks down do they still support parts for it with the ease? I know the MPC models does and that's a good thing, and that's why I love stand alone hardware. For Akai most part they have all those parts and can be repaired. So that's why I am going a new.
Akai better come with it, or there will be a lot of angry people!!!

Thats why I'll wait to see what actually is going to work without issues on the X before I buy one. Looks promising though. I can always make room for another dope machine.
