Sounds like a cracked circuit board with broken traces.

it sounds to me like there is an issue generating the left channel BEFORE it gets routed to the jacks. so no i dont think it is your outputs, its something further down.

it is likely a small mechanical issue, like a crack in a circuit trace as suggested, a blown capacitor, or a bad op-amp or something (i am guessing here).

if you can't figure out what it is, replacing the main board might be the best option, but i'd exhaust all other possibilities first. if you can visually find the issue, you might be able to save her by replacing the blown component or using a wire to recreate the circuit path.

Ok ok, yea I think you maybe right on it all. I will look at it again real good tonight. Hope to find some more leads.. And lets say it is a damaged path of component on the motherboard.. how to repair a broken path of compasitor? Isnt it best to let a professonial look at that?

i guess that is open to interpretation

honestly for what you would pay a professional, it might be worth it to just buy a new motherboard. but in that case too, you might even be able to just buy a new mpc for the price.

if it is a blown capacitor, it will maybe be visible - like it will have a brown / black burn mark on the cap or on the board. if it is a crack in the circuit board through a circuit trace, you can solder a wire in from two points on either side to connect the same thing the trace was connecting. i hope that makes sense...i can explain better if you decide to do it.

another thing i would say try, if you think you can, is try to follow the audio signal and listen at different points and find out where it is screwed up. like, could it be the main volume potentiometer? both the main out and the headphone out go through that...so it could be as simple as replacing that. if you can, hook a signal up before the volume pot and see if you can hear anything and if the noise is still present. to me, it doesn't sound like this would be the cause (it sounds too digital / cyclic), but it is worth a shot.

Thnx for you last reply TapeDeck. I havent found the problem yet unfortunatly... So I bought a Jack splitter to use my only clear output (main left) and I can record that output.. but still its not very nice to produce with that noise when listening on headphone.. I also feel that sometimes my left or right headphone is dropping when tapping the pads with sound as I record..

I would really like to still fix it cause it irritates me when I need to focus on the beat.. but finding a afforable new motherboard is not very easy with the current supplies.. + having to re install everything is not giving me a secure feeling cause opening up my mpc and just installing the CF reader gave me this problem (I think). And I was pretty carefull opening it and not touching/moving any other elements except for the ide cables for the floppy/CF drive.. so never went near the outputs orso..
