Does seem very wobbly, hopefully they'll attend to that before the release.

For me it won't be much of a problem if they don't because I won't be using it the way these guys use it.

I think indeed that this has to do with the stand behind the screen not being used.
Saw enough vids where the screen doesn't wobble at all due to this stand.

So X is delayed because they still working on the engineering of the device. Akai planning a matte screen to rid of glare from lights, new bigger Q link knobs and OLED lights. And a couple of features to be implemented in 2.0 like tracks with different time signatures in a song.

No MPCs on a boat, yet. But Pete an ass.

Well, the Live form-factor was practically finished already, w/ the Touch. I have my fingers crossed that the Live will be the first to ship.

"Newegg show it in stock. I don't know how accurate it is, as it is through a 3rd party seller, but I spoke to cust. service and he informed me that the stock is in real time, and if an item shows in stock, then it is actually in stock. Crossing my fingers."

'Pro DJ Hub', some random third party seller with 3 (mostly terrible) reviews and a Facebook page not updated for nearly a year. Certainly an 'unorthodox' move from Akai. Methinks human error.

It's a 3rd-party vendor called "Pro DJ Hub" out of CA. There's a phone #: (818) 415-0908 Give them a call and let's see! (UPDATE:) I have an email out to them now.

I doubt NewEgg can verify what a Vendor is claiming. You'd have to ask the vendor.

I predicted a 3 week window from when Pete Goodliffe tweeted "on ships / headed to stores".

That X is huge and the Luve is not some small toy either.

Thats how l bang out my drums and l need the Live to really get down. I have a vid up showing me rock. But lm some thing like these guys. But Reason and Studio One grids can't capture my hits and put it on the grid. So l have to fix my drums manually thats a pain.

The screen was moving because they were hitting on the pads. That table is the wobble point not the screen.

Cant wait to get mine.. Seems that I'll have to wipe clean the 'X' every day..

At 2:18 I noticed that the screen keeps wiggeling.. Is that a feature..??

Yes it sexy! Ima get the Live furst being it comes out first. And probably get the X latter. I think Akai is putting out that Live first is they will have larger quantities so pre-orders and non pre-orders can get it. I don't think there will be a big shipment of the X. After the X sell it will probably go by order.

I have "Electronc Wipes" l can clean cell phones, tv, computer and more with them. I will clean the Live with them. Get 25 a bag for only a buck. Plus when l finish with the Live lma put a cover over it.

starmanwarz wrote:That X is soooo fvckin sexy!! Man I really do hope it does what advertised, please Akai surprise us!!

It is a finger magnet though, I'd prefer a non glossy surface. Meh it's all good if the internals are top notch

Damn. You like to think ahead! Have you also decided when you're going to re-sell it?

Only kidding. I share your enthusiasm.
