l just got off the phone with newegg they have 20 units but they are the middle man. Let me call ProDjhub brb

I just got off the phone with personnel at ProDjhub he is goung to give me a call back. Im going to ask him to beat that price!

We are stii in the beginning stages of the last of the first quarter! !!!

It is incredibly unlikely that this is anything other than a mistake. Didn't Akai themselves confirm that the Live was to be released first, the X a few weeks later? But suddenly we have some random independant store with both models in stock before all the big box shifters? Never going to happen.

That's probably so. But when the senior software developer says they're on boats, headed to stores, I tend to think there's something to it.

So Akai are going to let some random independent store have stock before all the big stores, so everyone cancels their pre-orders and buys instead from Pro DJ Hub?

I think it's pretty clear who will get the stock first in the US - basically any store that has made a bespoke promo video with the Live, i.e. like Sweetwater - obviously these are the direct 'partners' as they'll be the ones shifting huge amounts of stock.

Ok just got off the phone with Michael at ProDjhub.
He 27 units THEY ARE ALL GONE! Due to pre-orders. He said next batch with the Lives will come on April 9th but will sell April 15th both X and Live. He doesn't do match nor price beating! So there yo go.
For the record the guy Dilion at Newegg didn't know what l was talking about l had to guve him the item number.
What puzzles me is if he said 20 is in stock and Michael said 27 is sold something is wrong. Just my logical observation.

Ima go for the Live definitely and see if l can get it lower.

I have to scroll back to see who got it for cheap. Ima preorder lm not missing the boat.
But lm trying to figure out how ProDjhub got it. I never heard of them and brand names dont like Sweetwater or AMS etc.
