midi question

if you have a keyboard hooked up to your mpc via midi.
can u have one sound playin from the keyboard on one midi channel;
and then have a different sound playing from the same keyboard on a different midi channel?

when i say playing i mean recording the midi hits on the mpc not the actual audio.


like a bass on midi channel 10, and a synth on midi channel 12 all from the same keyboard?

Yeah, you can do that.

You should be able to play up to 16 sounds at once from one sound module.
