I would have liked to see anything other than a rehash of the Touch. A wedge shaped body so the screen was angled towards the user, proper transport controls, and a serious rethink on the cheese grater sides.

I'd probably buy it if it was the only MPC coming out, but I always lean towards the flagship MPCs.

I agree on both points.

I hope MPC Stuff replicate the sides in black because I don't like the red at all. In terms of the screen, in use I don't think you'd even notice, providing you had it angled. Lying flat it looks daft!

I hear ya on that. The Live is a nice size, the 2000xl is a nice size too, I love that machine, and the Live just gets me. But I do love the look of the X its Sexy, but for me it's big, but let me say this as fact for me. I would put away my clunky dislike for the X lol hahahaaa I ain't going to lie.

You're right it's about the functions. I can get down with that Live, waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy better than my LPD8 :WTF: I would take the LIve over the LPD8 any day. The Live is a nice size Akai didn't over do it. I will be using it to pound out dope drums the way I want on that baby.
On the X that screen hang don't bother me. That screen really brings a sweeter touch to the X. Both machines are dope and on point IMO

Let me ask you, what would you think of 16 qlinks to the right of the screen with maybe the transport under those? It's getting to a 25 key keyboard size in length with that kind of option.

You mean 4 Qlinks :D Its a good idea for its not blocking the screen with my hands and I can have my left hand pounding pads as I adjust parameters. It all appears logical but I never messed with a touchscreen sampler before. Maybe sampling off the Galaxy pad is the closest I've gotten to the experience.

Yo yep, I would have the X sides in Black! OH man that would look crazy! Yeah that red gotta go. The Aesthetics of It is so beautiful It makes everything around it gravitate to it. It's like the best piece of furniture in the house LOL That big black leather couch that's really comfy!

I been messing with touch screen since I had the Trinity LOL That is a dope keyboard. I love the pitch bend on that baby, I gotta get another Midi keyboard with that type of pitch bend, I don't like the wheel type that I have now, makes me sick.
But I like the buttons on the Live and it does have 16 QLinks, 4 buttons and 4 banks equal 16. Am I correct? I can work with that, at first I thought it was just four until I saw the banks, so I won't be missing out on QLinks. For what Ima do its Perfect. If a person want all those buttons the X would be perfect for them. Down the Road I will probably get the X.

You know any midi keyboards with the side Pitch bend? That could also go up and down like the Trinity? I had that Trinity from 98 to 2012 and the screen was still strong. But my Triton Rack Mount screen was going out and I sold that quick. WTF was Korg thinking? :WTF:

Nah, never heard of it, I just looked it up and that's dope. But I want the knob bend like the Korg Trinity to fit in my left hand so I can do my crazy tricks with it.
What you showed me is dope, can't lie might have to look into that deeper Might have to get that as an addition. And then there's the Roli SeaRise, and its expensive as f***!!!!
It's in the same position as the X/Live LOL you gotta pre-order LOL awwwwh man lol

Man, I hope that Live isn't going to be like iphone sized looking in your hands. I was just checking the pic of you sitting in front of your MV and it looks like its SP404 sized next to you. My MV is massive looking next to me. I'm pretty short though.

:-D
