lf l were to get the X l would []D [] []V[] []D mines out and make the sides black and get my name on it. If they would of made the sides red on the Live it would of looked ugly.

Thomann still got the X for €1595 euros and Dawsons still got it for £1499 pounds.

It's still being advertised at £1449 at most places over here. I think we'll know early next week whether the price is getting bumped up or if it's just a few shops pissing around.

How much is that in US dollars?

Yep. I don't see Akai bumping up the price. If they did they are dead wrong. But l think its the stores imo.

Without tax, that'd be €1531.
That'd be 1630 USD, roughly.

Personally I'm digging the red sides on the X. I think it would have looked bland in my opinion if they were black. Other than adding a 2TB SSD drive on board, I will be rocking it stock.

Apparently the mpc live outputs can send cv. It can be seen in the gear4music demo on YouTube at the 9:30 mark and gear4music posted a response to a comment confirming.

I see the X killing the Live EDM sets. EDM has become super duper popular. 3rd party sound design companies are making tons of sounds for it.

Ok. If you like the red thats cool. That all black though. It would be dope with red or white piping. I would like all bpack with blue piping and the Oled lights blue! Blue piping on top of the jog wheel. Yes!

Every time l turn around that Live has something new to it. That is so freakin cool. That's why lm getting it.

I'm sure the cv option on screen is because the same 2.0 software runs on the X which actually has cv and gate outputs.

Andy didn't say anything about turning regular 1/4" outputs to cv. Let's not jump the gun because of some commentors misunderstanding of cv and gate signals and an option in software that makes sense for the X, but not the live.

I've asked a beta tester and he says , if you select cv it say 'this hardware has no cv outputs '

Many interfaces can send cv through the audio I/O. It depends on the DC coupling.
