I have two options:.
1. Buy a used mpc 2000XL
2. Buy Akai MPD218 Drum Pad Controller.

I seriously need 16 pads. I have 2 dedicated DAWs so lm not worried at all. I want my drum programming to become as easy as possible. The date gane is over for me.

I wouldn't blame dudes if they switched to another company.

Its official Akai has messed up.
Riddle me this. How is it that Akai said they were in the making if this for 3 years but it seems like they are just getting started? It doesn't add up.

To be honest, I just bought a 4K last week. It's currently shipping and will arrive soon.

I have never seen that price. Where do you reside? What browser do you use? Can you link that page?

If it is truly for that price, I'm ordering right away.

Puerto Rico, the island is more closer. Chrome.

Mike Acosta left a smiley on the question of will there be a mv9000 because he mentioned how many times people ask him about that one and he gave up awhile ago on hopes that Roland would put one out. He did say "never say never" but in the context, he wasn't hopeful that any MV9000 would ever come out of Roland.

I'm not holding my breath for that one either. It would be opportune time for competition to release one before Akai gets their ish together on the X though.

I just don't see it happening this year from any competition for as many features as the X or Live are boasting to have.

I'd love to see Korg repackage their Kronos in a standalone 16 pad configuration. They know how to do pads well with padKontrol and x/y control, plus Kronos synth engines and sampling.

Don't see it happening though.

Remember how l said ebay wull have a lot of machines from different companies just to get a X or Live. I know they are PISSE with a capital P!

Ill-Green wrote:Dammit Kay! Now I got the theme song locked in my head. Who knows how long it'll before it tires out :x

Been hearing plenty of stories of how dudes sold their equipment thinking the MPCs were to drop in February. Most sold everything thinking it was gonna be a 2 week wait from announcement. :WTF: I'm sorry but hearing those stories made me    all day. How you gonna do stupid **** like that without a plan B.

Maaaannnn :Sigh:

Yeah I see Sweetwater pushed the X back to June 2017. Was April.

I'm normally a order and wait type of person, but not when there are potential hardware issues causing the delay. Much different than software issues - hardware can't be fixed with a downloadable update.

Can't say that in this circumstance I'll sit tight for the pre-order. Something tells me not to be an early adopter of these new MPCs. Going to think about this one - might have to sit this one out for 6 months or so.

That's why I'd love to see Akai say something.

The hardware issue reference came from Akai I thought - too much to remember, and not going searching for that link again. Either way, we'll see. Going to put some thought into it for sure.

Would love to see Akai say something too.

Dam are you serious? You got a good price for it? Reason l wouldn't get it cayse its to bulky. But l am happy for you. If l don't get the Live in the time l said when l get what lm going to get and those machines drop lm not going to buy into Akai. Me l make money l cant have a company be this crazy with their products. Now l see why dudes jump ship.

"Akai you keep messing around you're going to lose many customers. You're already messing up with peeps pre-order money. Dudes ate pissed!"

But l don't know what is going on. I made my decision.

That shithead Pete was talking about his lice, he wasn't talking about 2.0 at all.

I'm not all that excited for 2.0 but I understand the frustration from the silence of a hard date of release from Akai. They are a peculiar company and seem to be focused to be ahead than concentrate on their grasp.

Something is coming ladies and gentlemen, they wanted to beat someone to the punch, so even halfway ready, Akai announced before the competition can set up shop. They know what actually it is and what it looks like. Many clues in their own vids prepare for the coming. Only thing, is that this THING does not have a huge touchscreen.

Bowing out of the Live hardware for now and just going to use 2.0 with the touch and silver studio.

I am going to get a maschine studio though since it received a good price drop. I like using the mpc touch and maschine together. With both getting realtime time stretch, I can finally drop reason.
