[OFFICIAL] - MPC X & MPC Live Photos, Specs & Pricing

The hardest date we got was from Akai of Australia saying shipments come in on May and June. And Gear4music who seems to be putting out all the exclusive vids said unofficially April and May for UK and US. From that, we are getting closer to launch. So before cancelling orders and losing your spots, lets be patient, lets see what Musikmesse has to offer and wait until May. After that, Akai officially shot themselves in the foot.

I've asked him that before. I don't get it. IMHO, if you really dislike something/someone so bad, why not leave it all behind and allocate your time and energy on positive things.
If you don't like Akai…why the hell are you spending your time hating on them on the Akai forum.

He's been asked the same questions so many times by Fanu and others.. He just hates Akai and wants the rest of the world to know..

Well the MV is unmatched and 30 years ahead of its time. I was suppose to say 10 years but its already 10 years later, and still remains a mythical titan. Not looking to replace my 8800 just need a portable box with near-like MV features. The Live fits the bill lovely.

Unf-withable is like that dude who had a bad relationship, and when he starts a new one, he still hates on that old girl.
Why? Because he's still not 100% happy.
...which means I think he secretly still craves for summa dat good old Akai action, ha!
He may have preorders on BOTH Live and X for all we know

He answers lots of questions on older mpc's as well as hating on the Nu stuff.

Exactly what I was thinking.. He might be the first person who pre-ordered..

It's all so clear now…he's talking trash about Akai in hopes of making people cancel their preorders, so he and his buddies can make absolutely sure they get the new devices FIRST!

Screw PSSL. They tried to charge my credit card on the Live but I keep that card frozen so they emailed me about not getting funds.... I said your site says in the faq that credit cards are charged when items have shipped. He tells me they need a "pending authorization" fee. I said cancel my order and have a nice day.

All good, used their quote at B&H and they finally honored the price match.

i did have that problem so far.. what price did they give you

I on other hand had a better experience with my pre-order from PSSL. I placed the order back in February for the X @ $1619.62. That amount was only held (not charged) on my card for 2 days and then it was removed just like the sales rep said it would. I will not be charged for the order until it is shipped.
