I have a preorder for the X at perfect circuit audio. I called them today and they said June also. Honestly I think that's the real date. Retailers don't benefit from giving a later date.

If the X is June l would hope the Live is like April
If a store told me right now l could have the Live full price l would be like, here's my credit card number lol

Both are looking like June according to quite a few of the stores. The Live a couple weeks before the X.

I haven't gone through the 141 pages of this thread, but I've been keeping up more or less.

Has anyone noticed that Guitar Center now says "AVAILABLE 04-27-2017" for the Live?

Nobody knows the release date, not even Akai themselves.

I didn't hear about any re-engineering for the Live. X getting a brighter and matte screen plus newer OLEDs and 2.0 has not been revealed yet.

I'm hoping they release Live and 2.0 by end of April and X, later in early June.

B&H says late April for both.

my gran recons mid July for the Live and late November for the X
