Btw, 1449 British Pound equals 1672.75 Euro, I paid 1656 euros, so that is still cheaper. And the Bax story is only 15 minutes away (by car) from where I reside.
Yes for me too. Maybe even 10 minutes (Rotterdam). But how come you paid 1656 euros while I got it for 1619 euros?

With the 10% discount I got it for 1619,- Euro.
I am happy for you. Is Bax Shop over saes? Im in the USA.[/quote]

I'd love it if standalone users could use that on the machine
100% agree....that would be wild, and I rarely even fug with it on my Renaissance......but that would make those standalones seriously powerful units....and so much fun to experiment with.....

We should form a group and make keygroups out of these VSTi's and distribute them between legimate owners of the vsti packs. Because it's
way to much work for one man to do it alone.

Excuses for the confusion, the Yamaha MD-BT01 DIN-MIDI Bluetooth LE adapter is included in that price, making it a total of 1656 euros.

Unless you are talking about sampling purely synthesised sounds then that could be tricky from a legal perspective. A lot of VSTi's are sample based, so it would effectively be no different to resampling and re-distributing a Kontakt library - most libraries do not allow you to re-sample them in order to re-distribute the sounds, even if it's between licensed users.
Doing it just for own use wouldn't be an issue, it's the distribution to others that will get you in trouble.

It's so refreshing watching someone else use the Live/X, other than Andy Mac. Kinda enjoyed the vid too, not your generic trap ****

Sorry, but that was truly awful. I'm not a fan of what the official vids show, nor Andy's demo set, but at least they were arranged w/ some display of competence.
Let's see a smooth sample and lazy chop session; the things that'll make this device a pleasure to have. Use some old library tracks (like the kind used in Sunny In Philadelphia theme) as royalty-free chop fodder, and deliver some ****'ing HIP HOP, for Preem's sake. Let's see the organization of the file system; tagging and searching.
This video above would make me rethink my pre-order, if I didn't already know how dope the Live will be, based on my experience w/ the Touch.

We need one good video TBH.
Contacted Akai again, offering to do a video.
Linked them to a video I did of Push 2; doesn't cover everything, but some good basic features.

Did Tool Time lose a cast member? Quit the show to create a new genre of music it seems....
Definitely different than Andy's demo.
Variety is the spice of life they say.

He has one and we don't. Must be sayin something.
