Yeah, I noticed and Akai keeps it low key by having on their site "the most powerful MPC up to date says Dan Gill".

I don't know the reason but so much garbage boxes were pumped out by Akai wasting valuable sources that should have went into MPC development and all were co-signed by Dan. They were just entering a ring which already had champions and top contenders so Akai were Glass Joe because of it just like the Ren. Stick to the river and streams you used and don't follow waterfalls.

Remember that video I posted on page 172? Saw this in the background. Looks like the MPC Fly but with a different name.

I can assure you that Dan Gill is still working for Akai.

Only thing, the Element never had a screen or ability to attach an iPad. I see iMPC on the screen though. But the Element was just a 16 pad controller for Essentials, maybe its a new essentials package for 2.0.

Probably a fly box then. They made em in black or red. Lettering could also be the same size as the way they did the fly logo with the word fly in between the black doodads.
