Says on Elektron's Digitakt page:
"The first Digitakt production batch is about to be assembled, and it has been reserved for pre-orders. Pre-ordering is possible until the batch is sold out. Shipping starts in May."

My point? This is the kind of shizz a company should tell to the people willing to buy their gear. If I had placed a preorder, I'd love to see that.
I haven't been following Elektron nearly as long as I have followed Akai, but I'll say one thing…I'll eat my shorts if they ain't making it happen in May if they say so.
That company makes things happen when they say so.
People love them. You must've seen all the Elektron hype in social media recently…and it's well deserved and for a good reason.

Yeah it beyond disappointing that AKAI isn't being transparent about certain things. I had the money set aside for the LIVE since January, but i'm really close to just using 2.0 with the touch and calling it day.

I preordered the Digitakt as well as the Live. I did it to see who will arrive first since both scheduled for May. For some reason, I have a strong feeling the Digitakt will arrive first. For anything, Overbridge is ahead of its time type of shit! You can track as many tracks you want, you can control as many devices you want, all under ONE usb plug. No interface needed, no mess of cables, its where every company should be right now.

And no I don't got money to burn if you wondering. Gilfs got money for me

I'm curious to see the 2.0 software screen with a mixture of audio wave files and midi and how the arrangement view looks. I guess I'm one of the few who is interested in using the X with the new software. I'm also wanting to see if you can record a realtime arrangement mix down like with Push2 where you play an arrangement on the fly and Abelton lays out all the seperate tracks arranged how you performed it. Not just capturing a stereo mix, but each track layed out. Not sure if this is possible.
