Companies do send out pre-release units, beta versions. I've had one from another company.

Yep, going off what I was told the X was meant to be going into mass production late April, which would mean late May shipping and late June arrival - into Australia.

Hmm I really hope so. I leave for a trip in June. Would love to take the Live with me.
I guess if the Digitakt arrives first I will buy that instead. I can resell it in 6 months and buy the Live if it's released by then

"Gegen Herbst" could mean "around fall" but I rather would use it in meaning of "towards/short tme before fall".
But the guy seems to be very nervous.
