Yep, going off what I was told the X was meant to be going into mass production late April, which would mean late May shipping and late June arrival - into Australia.

Looks like our Live date is holding true for now.

Okay, I've had verification that X is still slated for late April production. At this point in time our estimated dates are unchanged.

Yes, I will be doing that. I actually have my JDXi hooked up to my MX1 which is an input to my Touch, but I am having difficulty recording it cleanly. Trying to figure it out now.

This is also the first time someone has asked him specifically about realtime time correct (or 'swing' for the layman), and he basically dodged and deflected the question without properly answering it. Being able to nudge midi data from individual pads around in realtime is great, but it's not quite the same thing. If you could select multiple pads and utilise the full weight of the TC settings on the q links, it would open up a lot of creative possibilities for those that use TC.

Other than that, the X looks stellar. :smoker:

I'd imagine that RRP may have gone up in Europe as it has in Australia, as comparatively speaking, these territories were cheaper than the US. But perhaps not all retailers have caught up to the change in pricing, that's a win for end-users if that's the case - take advantage of it.

Yeah the MPC live i have pre-ordered for 1399, its now at 1599..
I had a few days to think this through and decided not to cancel my preorder. There really isnt anything out there like these new mpcs. I love standalone devices and I work with computers all day and just don't want to come home to make music on computer anymore.

Akai S20

Akai S900 (still have this in a shed after it blew up - was going to keep it forever and was so sad when it died)

Korg MicroSampler (still have this one -it borked and now only outputs in mono)

Roland SP404

I'm hoping the Live is finally the one that gets it all right :worthy:
If it's as good as it's looking I will get the X too no doubt :smoker:

have they added £150 of features or they just raping extra profit money; or maybe they priced it low to get the pre orders rolling, but when they saw the high demand they was like let paper flow.

Ive seen some sites put the uk price of the mpc live
