So far, only GAK seem to have changed MPC Live pricing, to a whopping £929

unusual for GAK to be £130 more expensive than literally everywhere else in the UK....

Don't dish out if you can't take it you sour neck bytch. You a**holes take the internet like its some boys club. On the real face to face most you would get your ass beat! Go make some money. I invited everyone of those clowns in GS to a battle and they don't want it. You know why? Cause they can't make no real music that's worth hearing and they are all talk. So go run and tell them what l said.

Chill, kiddo.

You seem pretty emotional for someone who "doesn't care what a clown on the internet" says.

Anyways, shouldn't you be at school? Don't skip school man. It won't make you smart, but at least it will help you realize what a dumb brickwall you really are. Don't give up!

Dude…nobody here cares what you've done or finished or who's not on your level.
Just like they didn't on GS.
This forum is not the place for that.
Please keep that away from here and handle your beefs in private. You're always repeating your behavior and let people wind you up. Something to think about.

Aw man, you got a degree, that's cool. Is it handwritten? Does it say how special you are? Does it have painted rainbows and unicorns? Make sure to hang that in your major studio, everyone is gonna go nuts over that!

Hey bro you are on the same path I am on, I love stand alone machines! I will be able to get my ideas down quickly and precisely without any problems and that MPC feel that I am so use to.
I'm definitely getting the Live, and the X later when I set up a stationary post in my house. I couldn't come at a better time. I love staying in the box computer wise though but I will combine the two to have a healthy dynamic beast for my setup. I see it where I won't need anything else for a long time unless Akai out beats this machine and make me go "wtf :WTF: I gotta get that now" LOL When it comes to drum machines I don't want it from any other company.

I have had.
1. S950
2. MPC 2000
3. MPC 2000XL

worked on.
MPC 3000 and MPC 60ll and they are some dope arse machines!

I'm going to have my midi keyboard connected to the MPC and my MPC connected midi wise with Reason 9. Right now I don't know what I am going to do with Studio One 3 but I am still going to use it for my VSTs but now I know how to use Impact drum machine in it and other functions I will use it another way. I will mix in Reason 9 and master in S1v3.

So what's your set up going to be?

Loosecaboose wrote:Yeah the MPC live i have pre-ordered for 1399, its now at 1599..
I had a few days to think this through and decided not to cancel my preorder. There really isnt anything out there like these new mpcs. I love standalone devices and I work with computers all day and just don't want to come home to make music on computer anymore.
Some standalone samplers I've owned in the past:

Mpc500
Mpc2000
Mpc2500
Ensoniq EPS16+
Ensoniq ASR-X
Akai S20
Akai S1100
Akai S900 (still have this in a shed after it blew up - was going to keep it forever and was so sad when it died)
Akai S612
Roland VP9000 (selling this one - listed right now)
Korg MicroSampler (still have this one -it borked and now only outputs in mono)
Korg ESX
Korg ES2/E2
Roland SP404

I'm hoping the Live is finally the one that gets it all right :worthy:
If it's as good as it's looking I will get the X too no doubt :smoker:

I can do that with no problems, but when guys START the crap they need to be put on hold immediately before anyone says some thing to me.

Do you understand that you have a problem, but you blame others for it?
Like, "Please don't mess with me or I'll get all aggro on you – please keep these dudes down before they make me mad", while you could just shake it off.

I'm saying this in public because I'd give Danoc a warning, like I've suggested before.
Just bad behavior a bit too often; totally unnecessary and irrelevant to the forum/thread.

Come on, do I really have to lock this because people are determined to veer off topic? If anyone has issue with the way the forum is run, please start a topic in the 'forum support' section. If anyone has a beef with another member, just 'foe' them from your control panel. Back to MPCX/Live discussion please.

Nooooo

No locks

190 pages of speculation on dates, finishing 2.0, weird videos of vocal chops, entertaining member matches, etc. is definitely not enough.

Keep it rolling please. I visit this thread several times a day for entertainment and news

So glad I ordered mine from them before that happened, had a feeling it would, same thing happened with the Minilogue up 20% from original store price though that was after release and around the time of the brexit vote and this rise is just after they sign it. Hmmm
