MPC Live/X & software talk

Peace everyone.

Im making this thread so people can express having the MPCs linked up to any software. Be Cubase to Protools.

My music weapon of choice in software is Reason 9. Linking up the midi keyboard, Live and Reason 9 is a killer combo.

Vst support for R9 is May 29th. MPC Live is suppose to drop in that time range hopefully. This great news cayse l make my music up in Reason and l mix in it also.
About three months ago l found a way to keep my drums on the grid. Which the technique was sitting in my face all the time. That's why l don't need an interface.

So what's you're DAW of choice you will use the X or Live with? We can learn from one another

My studio uses Ableton Live as masterclock and recordinghub. Going to use the mpclive standalone but it will also be used as a plugin in Ableton where i can drag and drop recorded sounds and phrases from Ableton directly to one of the clippads and see if i can create clipsets (16 x 8 banks) with 128 clips in them and use the clipsets alongside the basic mpcfunctions for performances, also i will have my elektron analog rytm next to it for Analog kicks alongside some external hardwarefilters distortions and delays to freak with. Hope the audio drag n drop will be stabile and PDC will be implemented soon

Anyhow i cant wait for the pre-order to arrive

Wow! Now see l leraned a new set up and how you work. It amazes me that we almost have the same stuff but everyone works differently with different work arounds.

Im going to try something when l get the Live. Im going to lock it up with Reason 9.5. It has PDC thank you Props!
lm just going to have a nice ine two punch, being Reason can accept vsts the routing possibilities is bananas!

Right now using MPC Software standalone and Maschine 2.6 VST as a sound and effect module inside the MPC. Maschine's browser (including Komplete plugins) is really easy to use. I Was on my way to purchase a microbrute and and JD-XI to use when the LIVE finally dropped.

Now since my favorite synth DAW has VST support, i'll hold off the JD XI and microbrute and host the MPC 2.0 software in Reason. I will purchase Parsec 2 and Hydronexus RE's this week.

The Live will mainly be used as a track recorder and production tool at home.

Educate me on something. You said you're going to host 2.0 inside of Reason.?
So you're telling me 2.0 software can pop up as a vst in Readon? Im asking because l though 2.0 SW was a hist all its own and you could bring up Vsts in it.

Also Reason 9.5 is a FREE updste for those who have R9.
I didn't get any Re's when there are so many dope Refills out there.

I would take some of those sounds and put them in that MPC Live. And definitely opeb up in Reason 9.5. I gotta get my keyscape though. Ughhh!
I just got my Fabfilter bundle which is tight! I love tha Pro R reverb and to be able to bring it up in Reason is going to be crazy. Izotope vinyl l got that also.
Im looking at Signal from output.

So what l keep seeing is the Live coming in the end of may and Readon 9.5 droppin at the same time. we know R9.5 going to drop hope the Live drops.

Yo why in the mercy did you show me that Hydronexius? Dammmmm that thing is hot. Its only $59 right now on sale till May 29th! Im getting it tomorrow morning! Dammmm bro. Put some of those sounds in the Live and have no mercy. Do you understand the routing capabilities we're going to have with this?

Good knowledge to have, thanks for the 2.0 users. Also they should know if they are on a PC and Win 7 they need to upgrade from Win 7 to 8.1 all the way up to Win 10.

I noticed that even after officially 'deregistering' my Ren it's still listed in my account (I assume the new owner has also registered it), so it seems Akai's authorisation system (pre 2.0 at least) is perhaps a bit broken.

If the person you sold it has it shouldn't he have separate account? Cause if you get the X would that cause a problem for you when you register your X?
