"MPC 2.0 Public Beta is NOW AVAILABLE to download for registered MPC Touch and MPC Live owners. "
-Akai[/quote]
Yes I kind of figured that, I was just wondering how they were using it, they must have a touch as well. Just thought I ask, and thought I might have missed something.
PEACE.

I have the studio black, but where are you finding the beta program at. I'm in my account but I don't see a link for it.

I got it from my touch registration. I decided to see if my studio black would work with it. They should just put it out for studio black now too.

So a newbie can beta test 2.0 but the people that have been using mpc's and supporting Akai for years can't???? smh. :(

Damn I'm super jel now! They should just go ahead and release it to everyone. I think most understand that it is beta. I just bought the Studio Black 2 weeks ago, would love to try the 2.0. I just hope that it doesn't be in beta for like 6 months, or until all orders have been filled with "live" and "x".
Maybe they are still trying to figure out the marketing plan on how much the upgrade is going to cost if you didn't get a touch or live or x.

On my Windows PC where the Touch is installed I can't get the MPC software to read the Silver Studio. On my laptop Windows PC where the Silver Touch has always been installed, the Silver Studio works with the beta,

Any tips?

These clowns don´t seem to know the definition of public beta.

So you saying that the MPC 2.0 Software will not work with the MPC Renaissance at all? That sucks for real, i want the 2.0 update software.
