Faulty MPC1000. Should I repair (UK) or return?

Hi everyone, just joined this forum and was hoping my first post would be for better reasons. After researching for a couple of months I decided that the MPC1000 was for me and was excited when I finally got one. Mistake was I got it from eBay in a different country. It was advertised as fully working with 128MB. First thing I noticed was that two of the buttons were stuck under the casing (Numeric and Undo Seq) so that might be a bit of a problem when sequencing. I couldn't power it up for a couple of days as it came with a Euro cable. When I did it said memory size is only 16MB and memory check failed. The seller said they might pay for repairs to save sending it back but this will probably depend on the cost, plus I'm wary there might be more faults once they are fixed.

Can anyone recommend somewhere in the U.K. that does repairs and do you think it's worth it or should I just keep looking and return it?

I'd return it, make the seller pay the return costs. Make sure you communicate entirely through eBay messaging and open a case asap.
