You probably did this already, but just to double check, did you 1) open the MPC software and 2) put the MPC in controller mode? You have have to do both of those things to see any mounted drives

Actually, that's false.

You don't have to have the software running. If you connect the Live, and put it into Controller mode, you'll see the drive on your comp. No need to run the 2.0 software for the purpose of mounting the drive.
