do you miss the footswitch plug on the mpc live ?

i wonder why there is no plug for a footswitch ? for live purpose, it can be an issue, specially for looping.
can we expect some improvement ? or we have to buy the X that is not specially made for live ? that is a bit strange.

Maybe a usb footswitch.
