1) overdubbing / takes
2) mute status should be sequence-independent.
3) mute track area should have a column of 8 buttons on the right for audio tracks.

Thats the thing about audio tracks, its for linear recording. If you want to overdub, you would have to open a new audio track while the first one plays. Think of it like an 8 track tape recorder. Muting would be done during mixdown as well.

Would be cool to program mutes for audio tracks in the sequencer. Would have to be some kind of timed mute on the grid.

The MV doesn't even allow more than one pad to sound on audio tracks. It really takes a lot of CPU power.

The looper has no problem w/ overdubbing audio. I don't see why they didn't implement that tech.
