mans been doing standalone challenge for decades......some of our favourite albums were created using the standalone challenge....

Looking at the 5usb clip... Has anybody tried to connect an usbhub to it and make multiple USB connections with it?? Personally I like the fact that it supports the qwerty board for editing names.

Love that 'First Impressions' video.

Yes, regards your USB Hub question, just tried it and it looks OK. Plugged in a cheapo laptop hub (non powered) into the topmost USB slot and the Live now sees my thumb drives ('Thumbo 1' and 'Thumbo 2') plus my qwerty keyboard is working from the same (3 slot) hub.

Added advantage might be that the USB hub can now take all the risk / wear and tear of plugging and unplugging thumb drives....? Better add that although my Thumbo drives (and the qwerty) are seen by my Live via the Hub, they're still empty cos I haven't as far as saving stuff.

Looks like another pleasant surprise from my new Live!

Thanks jpeg. I mostly use a Kontakt bass that I multi-sampled in to my 500 and created a PGM out of. Or more recently some of the presets inside the Korg triton taktile keyboard.

I may just do that on the next vid, thanks for the encouragement!
