I agree with you. He never gets banned, and I just ignore him. He said anyone who bought the Live or X are fools. smh, I ignored it, why get into it when I am making dough? LOL And I love the Live, and the way I got my setup its like having the X. So while I am enjoying myself while making dough, I don't worry what he says. IF HIS PLAN WAS TO BEGUILE ME FROM GETTING THE LIVE IT DIDN'T WORK! He's wasting his own time, the mods ain't did nothing, I'm not, I will let him be.

Its even more debatable if he's GROWN! LOL

Yo man 2.0 sw is almost like what you see in standalone. Akai got the Air efx they are dope. You can use them in controller mode as of right now.
This machine is very nice lm in love again lol.
What lm about to do lm going to have a nice setup.

The MPC Live is a Linux computer so any plugins would need to be re-written specifically for it. It would seem to make sense for Akai to at least create a standalone port of Hybrid, but considering the length of time it's taken to develop a beta 2.0 with lots of missing or half baked features, I wouldn't hold your breath to see native plugins appearing any time soon.



I agree with you, but until plugins become available I'm definitely enjoying the MPC Live.

My first impressions are mixed but lean heavily on the positive side.

I miss some of the lil things from JJOS, qlink + pad to jump quickly between tracks, erase ALL EVENTS / ERASE BAR, and multitibral MIDI input would be welcome. But man, nudging and tweaking velocities with the touchscreen, sjust pure gold! Love the vast number of fx slots too.

Also, I never liked the smaller sized pads on my 1k. That used to be my only regret in swapping a 2k5 for a 1k back in the day. Full size fat pads as standard on the new live? :worthy:

my first impression is that it looks promising & very dope if they add others features :smoker:
i'm not lost & the only mpc i've owned was the mpc 500 :lol: btw my last sampler/sequencer is the Beat Thang
don't hate on me :popcorn:
mine is stable, i use it in standalone mode for sampled base beats, haven't explored all the features but looks good

Personally, I don't see anything wrong with waiting until Akai addresses more bugs and delivers on promised features. Not interested in the Live anyway, but would be interested in the X if they eventually work things out with it and its not a beta any longer.

Some people here act like not being an early adopter is a blasphemy and that any critique of bugs or features promised that are not working yet, is a personal attack.

Chill. MPC Tutor sets a good example of honesty on features and walking people here through better descriptions of issues and specifics of when encountered. I can dig it.

Def not "wobbly as hell". It doesn't sit as tight as Q-Links, but it's not like it's mad loose.

Nah, no worries here, hardly worth a mention IMO: surely not as stand-up-woody as the Q Links but I quite like the soft-clicky feel of this data wheel. Much better than the data wheel of the Akai MPX8/16. Maybe I'll watch out for some posh Chroma Cap replacements one day.

Plus, as a senior user, one needs to accept some things are not as firm as they used to be, eh. :lol: ... As a MPC novice, must say this Live is money well spent, - having a great finger-drumming time.

I will never be a early adopter of any Akai product again!!! :fku: Akai.
I bought the Ren when it first came out after months of speculation of the release date and zero feedback from Akai.
When it came out the software was terrible and Akai developers lied about its features and emulations.
It took a decent amount of time to get the software right ( Thanks to all the Beta testers !)

Now I have been waiting for the 2.0 ( for over a year!!) and have been watching the X.
But it's a Déjà vu. :lol:
The have some mpc owners to test the beta software version, no real official release dates and when 2.0 is available for the Ren it's going to cost me 99 dollar? :shock: :vomit: :Sigh: :WTF:
