Just popped into my head but I imagine that the vintage modes on the live might really come in handy. I will check it out when I get home.

You know, I never saw it this way, I mean using the DT for sample heavy music. Chopping and playing is so much easier with the touch screen and pads of the Live. I was going to use it mostly for one shots, synths etc. I'll try all possible workflows, though.
