clip stops at end of sequence instead of looping...

i've got an 8 bar sequence with a clip program containing around 20 samples.

most of the clips work as expected - hit the pad at any point and the sample loops until you hit the pad again or another pad in the same mute group is activated.

but a couple of the clips, they stop when the sequence gets to the end of the 8th bar, regardless of when you hit the pad, i.e. the clips are 8 bars long, but if i launch them at bar 2, they stop after 6 bars. launch at bar 4 and they stop after 4 bars, etc...

the dodgy clips have all the same settings as the good clips in pad edit mode, as far as i can see.

any ideas what i'm doing wrong?!

funny how many "bugs" turn out to be user error!

yes the length is correct as far as i can tell. if i start the clip at 0.0.0 it plays the full 8 bars and loops seemlessly. i'm not sure i've checked the length of the original sample though (can't right now) - if it was say 12 bars and i was trying to use it in a 8 bar sequence, would that cause issues?

i have since noticed that if i start this clip at bar 3 (for example), not only will it stop at the end of bar 8, it will also then start again at bar 3!
